Berkshire Hathaway has been staying relatively steady the past few months, falling to $143 and rising back to $150 a few times. Of course, Warren Buffet is all over the news, so it is hard to find much on BRK-B itself but I did find that they had recently acquired Van Tuyl Group, which is the largest privately held (car) dealership in the US.
The company is now renamed Berkshire Hathaway Automotive. It pulls 9 billion in revenue and operates 81 independently operated dealerships and over 100 franchises in 10 states.
So, as per the usual, Berkshire Hathaway continues to add companies to its list. And, as per the usual, we’ll continue to hold.
